The Tech Museum of Innovation, now called The Tech Interactive, is much more focused on how things work, encouraging curiosity for science, engineering, math and technology. That’s what makes it different from the Exploratorium. The The Tech Interactive looks at the world of science from a more inventive perspective and in different categories than you might expect.
For example, they focus on Biology, Human Anatomy, Cyber Security, Space Exploration, Medical Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Technology for the future. What can we do in these categories to apply innovation to make a better more functional world?
If your child wants to go beyond just visiting the museum, they can attend creative classes where they think, experiment, design, and implement their challenges into solutions. The Tech Interactive is a fascinating museum that makes it easy to understand complex criteria and concepts.
I was impressed by the way the exhibits were formulated and the way different outcomes were persuaded. $25 admission. $12 for an impressive IMAX show.
