Stanford Shopping Center is an upscale outdoor mall with luxury landscaping. It’s a beautiful shopping center to spend the day strolling, shopping, and dining. There is ample free parking unlike the crowded malls in San Jose.
You are close to Stanford University and downtown Palo Alto. Some of the stores include Coach, Tesla, Louis Vuitton, Brooks Brothers, Ann Taylor, Hermes Paris, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Ray Ban, Burberry, and an impressive “Apple” stores with all glass exterior walls.
Stanford Shopping Center is best on a sunny day as there are only some areas that are covered. There are plenty of benches and sitting areas. A map is helpful as the shopping center is not linear as are indoor malls. Although there are several restaurants at the mall, I recommend trying out the restaurant at the Allied Arts Guild.
