Authors Comments:
Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is a full-scale water park in the Concord and Walnut Creek Area. They have rides for small children, families, or older thrill seekers. There are plenty of restaurants, some serving teriyaki rice bowls, flash frozen ice cream beads, pizza, cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, soft drinks, beer, and wine.
You can float down the Kaanapali Kooler lazy river or play in the 630,000-gallon wave pool and beach. The Caribbean cove has spray fountains for toddlers, as well as geysers, and a shallow wading pool. There is plenty to do for a full day. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor plans to open in the spring of 2022. Online tickets are recommended. Bring extra clothing as the winds can kick up in the afternoon.
