Santana Row

Santana Row is unlike any shopping experience in Silicon Valley. The shops are elegant and unique, unlike shopping malls. The architecture will remind you of a European city. Although I live only 10 minutes away, this was my first choice for a “Stay-Cation” and enjoyed visiting this attraction with my children as they grew up.

There is everything you need for a weekend stay. There is a movie theater and plenty of shopping both at Santana Row and at the Westfield Mall across the street. We stayed in the chic Valencia Hotel which has a swimming pool on the rooftop fifth floor with poolside food and drink service.

The shops are mostly high-end and there are restaurants everywhere, many with outdoor dining. Figure 50 specialty shops, 30 restaurants, and 10 spas. This is a splendid getaway either for the day or for the weekend. I have enjoy both the shops and the architecture.
