The San Jose Sharks are an exciting professional ice hockey team. They brought the National Hockey league to San Jose in 1993. Their games are action packed. They play in SAP Stadium, known locally as the “Shark Tank”.
The arena is easy to navigate with a large lobby surrounding the entire perimeter. There is general admission as well as private suites owned by affluent individuals and local corporations. The San Jose Sharks have had six division titles and went to the Stanley Cup once in 2016.
Not being a Hockey buff myself, I have thoroughly enjoyed the games I attended. I recall, minutes before the end of the third quarter I slipped out to get drinks and snacks to beat the rush of the fourth quarter crowds. When I returned to my seat, the entire arena was empty. What? Only hockey fans will get it. Game prices are $25 to $120. Parking can be $28 to $50. Public lots are less.
