RAGING WATERS HAS CLOSED. Raging Waters is an action-packed water park in San Jose. The warmer the day the better. There are water slides for all ages, so your teenager and your toddler can all have fun. Kids two and under are free. The ride called Bombs Away exceeded my free fall limit.
There is plenty of food at Raging Waters and open areas to step back and enjoy lunch. There are large pools and river floats if you just want to relax. Small kids have their own area away from the teenagers. Many of the rides have height requirements.
I recommend you bring your large beach towels, a change of dry clothes, and something warm to put over you. Even in the summer, this section of Silicon Valley can get afternoon winds that will chill you down. Day passes can be purchased online for around $50. Season passes are even a better deal especially if you go on weekdays. Nearby is the San Jose Flea Market.
