Located near Santa Cruz, Pasatiempo Golf Course always takes its toll on my game. It’s a beautiful course designed by Alister MacKenzie (Augusta National, Green Hills, and Cypress Point). This course is more difficult that it looks. I remember watching players hitting the green in regulation on the 9th hole and still four putting.

The course slope from the back tees is over 140 for both men and women and greens fees are over $300. If you are a lower handicap this course will test your skills. Pasatiempo has hosted both collegiate and professional tournaments. Juli Inkster is currently Pasatiempo’s LPGA touring professional and lived on the 15th hole with her parents as a child.

Pasatiempo Golf Course is a top 100 historically ranked golf course. It is considered one of the best in northern California and is in a beautiful setting. It’s a short drive to the coast and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
