Dee Harley, the owner of Harley Goat Farm is angelic when it comes to living life right and being devoted to her family, community, and friends. A good life comes with peace of mind, and peace of mind comes with being self-sufficient, covering the daily expenses, and making ends meet in a peaceful, loving environment.
Years of hard work, one goat at a time, has blessed this farm with marvelous goat cheese and a variety of homemade delicacies. In addition to her variety of cheeses, she creates vinegar, rubs, honey, harissa, olive oils, habanero jelly, nectar, goat soap, face cream, and my favorite felted soap.
Located in Pescadero and a few miles south of San Gregorio, an excursion to Harley Goat Farm brings you back to the genuine world of dairy life and love for the tranquil countryside. Except for a rare local store, you can only purchase her products at the farm.
In addition to all her goat products, they provide visitors with tours, cheese and wine tasting events, and a private fine dining experiences in the hayloft or upper barn.
I have been going to Harley Farm for over 15 years and it has been one of my favorite attractions on the San Mateo Coast. You can visit seven days a week from 11am to 4pm. The evenings and mornings are needed to keep the goats happy. For special dinners, contact them through their website.
