Great America

California Great America is the largest theme park in Silicon Valley. This amusement park was a go-to attraction as my children were growing up. It has rides for all ages, from the toddler to the fearless teenager and adult. The “Gold Striker” is ranked as number one.

Consequently, you can bring the entire family regardless of their ages. Check to see if they still offer the Friday special tickets at 50%. They have a nice website where you can filter the rides by age, height, and thrill level… making the search for rides much easier.

Great America is located next to the 49er Levi Stadium and there is ample parking as well as a convenient drop off. If you visit in the summer, there is also a water park at Great America that has advanced water rides as well as an easy river float. If you go there more than three times a year, you will save with the season pass. There are a few hotels within walking distance.
