CordeValle Resort

CordeValle Resort is a luxury first-class golf course located in the rolling hills of San Martin. This is an exclusive semi-private golf course, however if you stay in one of their villas for the night you are allowed to play the course. The rooms run between $720 and $1,700 a night and figure another few hundred for your green fees.

Or, as in my case, you may be blessed buy the golf angels and play as a guest of a member. This in one of the most immaculate courses I have ever played and is one of Robert Trent Jones Junior’s finest designs. The bunkers and the greens are in pristine condition.

CordeValle Resort is often considered as prestigious as Pebble Beach which is about one hour away. The course is nestled in classic California chaparral with rolling hills, native California live oaks, and California sycamores. Every hole is picturesque, as if someone painted the scenery.

Golfing this course is an experience you will cherish and never forget. An absolute “bucket list” day of golf.
